Artist`s Profile
Born in London of Irish & Spanish parents, Johnny’s love of art brought him to Belfast where he studied at The University of Ulster and achieved a BA Hons. Degree in Fine Art in 1991. He continued painting his favourite ‘Irish Landscapes’ whilst living in Belfast and Derry where he also had numerous Exhibitions.
Along with his many private commissions, he has completed several murals in Nursing Homes and Hospitals in both England and Ireland.
Johnny continues his lifelong ambition of living and working as an artist in Donegal.
1991 Graduated with BA Hons. Degree in Fine Art from University of Ulster
1993 Completed mural in Sensory Room of Activity Centre in Stradreagh Hospital, Derry
1994 Founding member of Foyle Artists Community Team in Derry. A further 2 murals commissioned by Stradreagh Hospital F.A.C.T. Joint Exhibition at Foyle Arts Centre
